Back in 2014, I met a guy who knew social media marketing and I was interested to seek knowledge from him. He asked me some questions, that were coming from general observation. I began to find it very interesting and believed it’s too simple. I kept the same belief and then I started hearing tough questions during job interviews. They were my exploration stage.
I got introduced to the sales funnels, data analytics and things started popping up one after the other. There were no simple formulas, I learnt every stack of marketing by experimenting with it. The process built a full-stack marketer in me. It was not enough, however.
So I dug in further, end results! The end results were what we always have to pay attention to. This is what most of the digital marketing teams are missing, most often they calculate vanity metrics or it’s just that they are doing things here and there, by chance they will see some boost in their work, that too without a well-shaped roadmap.
For years, we have heard the fluff about different approaches to drive results. Let’s be honest, most of them burn money. Most often, it’s because we don’t have the right foundations in place.
